Bloodborne is Over 40 Hours Long, Says Edge Magazine
Last month, we were knee deep in the debate over The Order 1886 and its short length. Some users reported completing the game in 5 to 6 hours, due to this many players refrained from purchasing The Order 1886.
This month, we are getting yet another PlayStation 4 exlcusive and I’m pretty sure fans won’t have an issue with its length.
The title in question is From Software’s Bloodborne. According to Edge Magazine, the team played the game for 40 hours and still wasn’t able to complete the campaign. There playthrough doesn’t include Chelic Dungeon or multiplayer. Meaning even more time can be spent playing multiplayer.
Information from the April issue of Edge Magazine was posted over at NeoGaf.
The gameplay duration actually depends on how skilled you are in games like this. I think it’s safe to say that experts players can complete Bloodborne is around 40 to 42 hours.
Moreover, Edge described Bloodborne as a “brutal riposte” for those who think they have seen everything before. Edge also revealed that they managed to find a dozen different weapons during their time with the game. The enemies you’ll face won’t drop any weapons but will offer different upgrade materials once killed.
The weapons you already found can be customized by using gems. Lastly, Edge said there’s is a new gameplay mechanic they aren’t allowed to talk about. I guess it will be a surprise when we play the game in a few days.
Bloodborne is expected on March 24 for PlayStation 4 in North America and March 25 in Europe.
