Zoolander 2 Announced – Penelope Cruz Set to Star in the Comedy Sequel

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson have finally announced Zoolander 2 in the Valentino Show.

We are sure all the actors and directors come up with amazing ideas for announcing their movies but never have we seen such a suitable way before.

Stiller and Wilson announced Zoolander 2 by walking in Valentino Show. Both stars walked the ramp for Valentino and made guest appearance at the Paris Fashion Week.Justin Theroux has written the script and Stiller will be directing the sequel.

The 2001 comedy still leaves viewers with laughter fits, and Zoolander 2 returns ten years later to screen – Derek Zoolander will have to do all he can to establish himself again as a male model.

Stiller told Mtv,

“In the fashion world, if you go away for a year, it’s changed—it just happensso quickly, I think the idea in the beginning of the movie is that it’s 10 years later, and Derek and Hansel are literally forgotten. Nobody remembers who they are, so they have to reinvent themselves.”

Ten years later, they are ‘forgotten’ apparently but I believe now they are super good looking. As co-stars and friends walked at the Valentino show, the nailed it and over-shadowed all of the male models.

Penelope Cruz landed the female role for Zoolander 2, reports Deadline alongside Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell and Owen Wilson.

For now, Zoolander 2 is off to a great start. Let’s hope to see the Zoolander revive its history of comedy and awesomeness.
