Nvidia Announces Free The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Copy With Select Graphics Cards

By   /   Mar 10, 2015

Nvidia is teaming up with CD Projekt RED to give away free digital copies of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the purchase of select video cards.

The cards that qualify for this offer are GeForce GTX 960, GeForce GTX 970, GeForce GTX 980, or a GeForce GTX 970M and above notebook. On the purchase of either of these cards, you’ll be handed a download code that can be redeemed online when the game launches. Note that this offer is for a limited period of time only.

In an official statement, Nvidia praised CD Projekt RED for what they have been able to achieve with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

“Developer CD Projekt Red has provided gamers with an epic story, an epic adventure, and epic graphics. The untamed world of this action-adventure game is a graphics showcase, with stunning vistas and detailed characters.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt utilizes Nvidia specific technology, including HairWorks and PhysX. Hence, it’s of little surprise that the hardware manufacturer decided to team up with the developer to promote the game.

“The Northern Kingdoms come to life as HairWorks gives the hair and fur of more than 50 monsters and characters a natural flow. Our PhysX technology does the same for clothing characters wear. Combine those with destructible objects and every fight’s a spectacular experience.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due for release on May 19 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
