Just Cause 3 PAX East Panel Video Available To Watch

Avalanche Studios held a Just Cause 3 panel at PAX East over the weekend. During the session, the developer showcased plenty of animated screenshots, as well as teased gameplay elements destined for the final game.

YouTube user Bit Calamity has uploaded the one hour long session online for your viewing pleasure. You can watch it above, but don’t get your hopes high in getting to see actual gameplay footage.

According to the developer, it’s still too soon to be revealing the game to its audience. Avalanche Studios wants to add additional features and shine the game before letting fans take it head on.

That makes sense. While many of us want to see what’s cooking behind closed doors, it’s usual for a person to see a pre-alpha footage and frown on various incomplete elements. Avalanche Studios clearly wants the first opinion of fans to matter and hence will take their time with the game.

According to the game’s director Roland Lesterlin, Just Cause 3 will have the “most optimized experience possible.” The studio right now is not targeting a specific frame-rate but has assured that the game will offer an optimized experience across all platforms.

Just Cause 3 is in development for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’s expected to launch late this year, but it could also very well get pushed into early 2016.
