The Art of Rocksteady Gets a Release Date and New Information

The Art of Rocksteady featuring the Batman trilogy – Batman Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight will release on July 7th. The information comes from a listing on Amazon which also revealed Abrams as the book’s publisher.

The hardcover, available for $28.07 contains 320 pages of gorgeous art and is given tag numbers ISBN-10 of 141971385X and ISBN-13 of 978-1419713859.

According to Amazon’s product description:

The Art of Rocksteady Studio’s Batman: Arkham Trilogy is the first official look behind the scenes of one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful video-game series of all time. Collecting together the best pre-production art, concept sketches, background paintings, character turnarounds, and sketch-to-final-ingame comparisons

The book also shares more about Batman’s development process, the story written by the iconic writer Paul Dini, voice overs by Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy among other things. In between the details more concept art, production art, development art and CG art will be shared with the readers.

As for the upcoming Batman Arkham Knight, the game is heading to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 2. The title will be the last installment in Rocksteady’s Arkham trilogy.
