Square Enix Wants your Help with Future Projects, Marketing and More

Square Enix have had a habit of asking around among their fans in order to know their own performance better, but what they survey the fans more about is the future.

That is exactly what they are doing right now as well. A detailed survey is being held by the publisher/ developer and it looks like they want feedback in deciding really important things about their future practices and, probably, projects.

For instance, they try to gauge the demography among the community by asking about the gender, age and country first. Thereon they ask you about certain entertainment and information mediums like your favorite radio station, streaming services, TV networks and social networks.

After that, they move on to your gaming platforms, your mobile phone’s operating system, your interest in eSports, your favorite news resources, the things that make you want to know about a game (trailers, word of mouth, demos, previews etc.) and so on.

It gets interesting after this, Square Enix wants to know which genres hold your interest the most, which games you are playing, which Square Enix games you like, which existing franchises of theirs you prefer, and last but not the least which one game of theirs would you want them to continue making in the future.

If you look at all this together, you will understand that not only they want to figure out if their marketing practices are the right ones, they are also trying to figure out which kind of games they should make ad for which platforms.

Potentially, this survey could have a noticeable impact on the future of Square Enix as a company.
