Batman: Arkham Knight German Pre-Order Features Exclusive Skin

By   /   Mar 7, 2015

GameStop Germany has listed a Batman: Arkham Knight Special Edition, which features a couple of interesting bonuses.

The first is an exclusive Batman skin which is from his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. It was when the journey of the Dark Knight began and in all these years, the caped crime fighter has forged itself as an icon – something more than just lines drawn on paper. The exclusive DLC will feature Bruce’s costume from then and his tragic back-story.

The second bonus is in the shape of a prototype Batmobile DLC. Batman: Arkham Knight will allow players to drive around the streets of Gotham in the heavily fortified and equipped marvel of engineering. The Batmobile DLC will give players the keys to a newer version, which according to its description will host a unique design and special features. We’ve yet to see this DLC in action though.

Furthermore, the Special Edition will unlock Harley Quinn as a playable character with four exclusive Challenge Maps. The PlayStation 4 version will be entitled to the Scarecrow Pack. There’s no information of whether the other versions will receive something else in compensation.

The game itself will come in a Steelbook.

Batman: Arkham Knight is due for release on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
