Kojima Wants a Name for The Phantom Pain Themed PS4
Okay so this is pretty interesting. Hideo Kojina the maker of Metal Gear Solid and industry veteran has had his way of hyping things up; this time around he is cashing in on the blood red Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain themed PlayStation 4.
If you don’t know what that is, you should check out this link.
So what Kojima did was that he tweeted an image of himself with the themed PlayStation 4 and the bionic arm asking for “any good name candidates for MGSV TPP version PS4 that you can come up with.”
It looks like he wants the community to name the special console, and the fans have some really interesting ideas. For instance, there is the “PS4 Totally-not-KGB Edition,” “Venom Edition,” “Big Boss Edition,” “The Phantom Painstation,” “Punished Edition,” as well as some really amusing ones.
For instance some one suggested that it should be called the “Big Boss did nothing wrong Edition” while another fan suggested a really hilarious name, The “M**********r I Should’ve Held Off On Buying One So I Could Import This Bitch” PS4.
Interesting stuff, right?
Anyhow, the special edition PlayStation 4 is being released in Japan and so far we don’t know if it is going to be launched separately in the west.
Also, we have heard some of the fan claiming that the bionic arm that accompanies the Collector’s Edition is going to be full scale in Japan and half the size in the US.
That being said, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is going to be released to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4,
Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 1, 2015 while the Microsoft Windows version is going to set foot on the ground on September 15, 2015.
