Johnny Cage Confirmed for Mortal Kombat X by Senior Producer

For a while now, rumors of Johnny Cage returning in Mortal Kombat X have been flying around. Readers will be happy to know that they were all true as Cage will be joining his daughter Cassie, in Mortal Kombat X.

The rumor was confirmed by NetherRealm Studios’ senior producer Adam Urbano, in an interview on YouTube which has now been removed from its original source. However, you still can see it on a different channel.

Not only Urbano confirmed Johnny Cage, but he also confirmed the inclusion on Kenshi. Over the past couple of days, it was being speculated that Kenshi is going to be in Mortal Kombat X. The game was recently announced for mobile platforms alongside an image of Kenshi.

That lead many to believe that Kenshi is playable in Mortal Kombat X.

“You’ll get to play as Johnny Cage, but we’re also showing Cassie Cage, who is the daughter of Sonya and Johnny. You’ll get a chance to see Kenshi and a chance to see a couple more.”

Now, while he did say we’ll be able to see him in the game, it doesn’t mean he will be playable as well. Hopefully, more on that will be revealed soon.

Kenshi’s image isn’t only thing MKX related being discussed over the internet. Some other images were leaked on NeoGaf that seemed to be taken from a cut seen in the story mode. We can clearly see Jax in them, which means he will be in the game at some capacity.

Would you like to see Jax as a playable character in Mortal Kombat X?
