Dragon’s Dogma Online Alpha Demo Coming on April 4
If you checked out the newly released screenshots of Dragon’s Dogma Online, or even better, the trailer released a little earlier which features the story and the characters, you would be seriously wondering when you will be able to get your hands on a playable build of the game.
Well, I can’t assure it, but I can tell you that if you are lucky enough you will be able to try out the game in the coming month with its first ever alpha demo.
The news comes in via the official PlayStation Blog for Japan where a dedicated event was announced for Saturday, April 4, 2015. It is supposed to be held in Japan and will be invites only – of course, like most alpha testing sessions are.
Any how, Sony says that a select few will be able to play Dragon’s Dogma Online at what they are calling the “Earliest Demo Tour.” I am sure something went wrong with the Japanese to English translation right there.
We also don’t know if the alpha demo will consist of both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 version or jut one of them. Definitely the PC version won’t be there, but as far as the consoles are concerned, I am sure they will include a playable demo for PlayStation 4 – and maybe one for PlayStation 3 as well.
That being said, Western fans of the series are still waiting for the western release announcement but so far Capcom has only confirmed a release in Japan.
Even then, Dragon’s Dogma Online doesn’t have a release date yet, although it is expected that the game will be out this year.
