Xbox One Wireless Controller Adapters Coming for PC This Year

If you are a PC gamer and you sort of like the way an Xbox One controller fits your hand when playing, this might be the news you have been looking for.

Microsoft has announced that they will soon be launching new wireless controller adapters so that the controllers can be connected with a PC for playing games!

The news came in from this year’s Game Developers Conference (GDC 2015) where the technology giant took to the stage with tons of their presentations and panels. While they were at it, they also made it easy for you to play games on your computer.

Before this, the only way to connect an Xbox One controller with a PC was through a USB Cable, which, many of us prefer not to use. Wireless controllers are going to be so much better.

Also, the announcement seems to have come in line with other future plans that Microsoft has for the Xbox fans. You would know that they are soon going to allow Xbox One games to be streamed onto Windows 10 through the Xbox app.

When that happens, you’d want to be as prepared as you can and that includes wireless controllers!

Xbox 360 users have had the feature on their controllers previously; just like this time, Microsoft had enabled wireless connectivity for Xbox 360 controllers too.

In parallel news, they had also presented on-stage, a demo Windows 10 app running on the Xbox One; which is another step forward to increased integration between Microsoft’s different products.

We don’t know the exact date when they will launch the adapters but Microsoft did confirm that they will be out later this year.

Hight five, cable clutter haters!
