By   /   Mar 5, 2015

The longtime rumors of a new Rock Band title are finally put to rest – Rock Band is coming back. Better late than never…

Being developed by Harmonix and hardware manufacturer Mad Catz, both companies are all set to bring Rock Band 4 to Xbox One and Playstation 4 by the end of 2015.

Talking about the game, Harmonix said that previously purchased content and songs from previous Rock Band titles will also work in Rock Band 4 – from Xbox 360 to Xbox One and from PS3 to PS4.

The company also announced that the development team is hard at work with both Microsoft and Sony to allow fans to use their old peripherals with the latest iteration – despite all differences.

Lastly, the company has also shared a behind-the-scenes video which can be seen below:

Being developed and published by Harmonix, the game is expected to make an appearance this weekend at PAX East in Boston and E3 2015.
