Madden NFL 15 is Now Free for EA Access Subscribers
EA has announced some exciting news for Madden fans as the latest entry, Madden NFL 15, is now free for all EA Access members on the Xbox One. Madden NFL 15 came out last year with a decent reception and this is a chance for those yet to experience the game.
EA announced the news of the title being free on their twitter account earlier. Madden NFL 15 isn’t alone in EA’s Vault as Madden NFL 25, NBA Live 15, EA Sports UFC will keep it company.
EA started the service last year exclusively on the Xbox One, after Sony refused to partner with the company on the matter. Sony believed that EA Access “does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect.”
I would have to disagree with Sony on this one, EA Access may not bring too much value but for just $30 a year, it’s more then enough. Subscribers of the service get early access to EA titles, who wouldn’t want to play blockbuster games a few days early? Moreover, members get a 10% discount on select EA titles.
In no way EA Access is on par with Sony’s PlayStation Plus, but having it on PlayStation 4 wouldn’t have hurt anybody.
EA is planning to release Battlefield Hardline on March 17 and subscribers of EA Access can try the game a few days early without any extra charge.
For those who haven’t played the beta, it’s the great opportunity to decide if the game is good enough to spend money on. Surely, it’s better than reviews because a number of fans judge a game just by looking at scores, rather than reading the whole thing.
