Metal Gear Online Trailer Released With Added Developer Commentary

By   /   Mar 4, 2015

An earlier Metal Gear Online trailer has been re-released today by Konami, but now features added commentary by the Kojima Productions’ Robert Peeler.

The trailer ventures into more details about the multiplayer mode of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and also reveals to curious folks why the team chose to include a stuffed puppy instead of a real one.

The narration from Peeler also takes viewers through plenty of gameplay elements and other features, all in all giving us a taste of things to come.

Metal Gear Online is designed by the Los Angeles studio of Kojima Productions and is a competitive multiplayer mode featuring a “class system” that allows you to customize your characters.

Metal Gear Online will go live the same day as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom, which is September 1 for consoles and September 15 for the PC. Seeing how last year almost every major title saw to delays, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that Konami doesn’t do the same with this game this year.
