Xenoblade Chronicles 3D “Heir to the Monado” Trailer Released
Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. The footage shows the game on the new Nintendo 3DS XL and features protagonist shulk using his sword to battle the evil forces. Dubbed as “Heir to the Monado”, the video shows one of the key elements of Monado’s gameplay.
The title was originally released for Wii and is being ported to the new 3DS. One of the main features of the new port is support for amiibo figures including Shulk. Players will be able to get in-game token by touching Shulk onto the new 3DS XL.
These tokens will allow users to unlock various 3D character models and music. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will put an emphasis on exploration, item collection and quest compilation.
Players will have the option to take part in various side quests offered by NPCs. These side quests usually task players to kill some enemies or locate a certain item.
A really convenient feature is that players won’t have to go back to the NPC to inform him of the completion. Side quests will automatically complete when your objective is achieved.
You can expect to play Xenoblade Chronicles 3D exclusively on 3DS starting April 10 in North America and April 2 in Europe.
