Special Announcement For The Phantom Pain Coming This Wednesday

By   /   Mar 2, 2015

Kojima Productions is planning a special announcement for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain this Wednesday.

On March 4 at 6:00 AM PT, series creator Hideo Kojima will be presenting a special message to all Metal Gear fans, as well as unveiling the mysterious news.

There’s absolutely no hints to what the developer plans to announce, except for the poster posted below which contains a similar countdown to the one on the official website.

Kojima probably plans to reveal the launch dates for the game on Wednesday. I’m hoping there’s something more to the hype than just release dates.

Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain - Announcement Teaser

Recentlym, Kojima revealed that he found the freedom provided by the game to players a bit too taxing, specially where the missions were concerned. The game does offer a true open-world experience, but that may not tie up well with how the missions go.

In an update provided, Kojima revealed that the amount of freedom currently being given to player may have a negative impact on experience. Too much of anything is not always right and the developer wants this game to be perfect. The last we heard from him, Kojima vowed to fix this issue regarding the game’s freedom.
