Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Collectibles Guide – Tower Emblem, Documents, Insect Larvae, Kafka Drawings

Collectibles in Resident Evil: Revelations 2 comprise of Tower Emblems, Kafka Drawings, Insect Larvae and Notes.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Collectibles

Our guide aims at detailing the locations for all said collectible items across all episodes. As soon as an episode is released, I will update it with more collectibles.

Tower Emblems

Tower Emblems are circular bluish objects which can be found hidden in each area. Following are the locations of all Tower Emblems:

Episode #1

Claire Campaign

Tower Emblem #1
Location: The first Tower Emblem is located in the area from where you are required to acquire the Experiment Block Key from the deceased police officer.

It is located directly behind the ladder which is used to get in or out of this area. In order to get a clear shot, go back to the area from where you initially came and stand on a higher platform.

Tower Emblem #2
Location: A little later into the story, you will come across your first workbench and a cogwheel right next to a torture device. You need to climb the high platform nearby to see the Tower Emblem on top of the torture device.

Tower Emblem #3
Location: Once you get to the Prison Cell Facility, you will see the Gear Kog mechanism inside. Stand right in front of the Gear Kog and look up towards the ceiling to see the Tower Emblem.

Tower Emblem #4
Location: You need to head to the bridge joining the Main Facility and the Radio Tower. While walking over the bridge, keep looking at its left side to find this Tower Emblem.

Barry Campaign

Tower Emblem #5
Location: Before climbing up to the Facility Area, go the Exit Gate nearby to find a couple of large metal boxes with the first Tower Emblem behind them.

Tower Emblem #6
Location: Inside the Facility Area, you will discover Natalia’s ability and will have to clear the area off enemies. After this sequence, check the metal table near the locked door to the second Tower Emblem.

Tower Emblem #7
Location: Instead of taking the bridge connecting the Main Facility and the Radio Tower, you will be forced to go through the woods. A little later into the woods, you will come across a lamp with its light shining upon the next Tower Emblem.

Tower Emblem #8
Location: After arriving at the Lumber Yard, you will have to jump-start the crane. Once in the Lumber Yard, head to its eastern side and you will see it beneath a couple of metal bars and near some wooden logs.

Once you spot it, use Natalia’s ability and aim some bricks at it to net the last Tower Emblem of Episode #1.

Episode #2

Claire Campaign

Tower Emblem #1
Location: You need to go at the backside of the Wossek Bar and find this Tower Emblem sitting on the ground near a couple of barrels.

Tower Emblem #2
Location: This Tower Emblem is located on top of a chimney on a house rooftop situated directly opposite the one of the Pedro drills.

Tower Emblem #3
Location: After heading inside the Old Town, you will come across a large complex on your left. On one of the windows of this large complex sits another Tower Emblem – a single bullet from your handgun should suffice.

Tower Emblem #4
Location: Once you come out of the building with the timed gate, go down the metal staircase and check the area behind the stairs – at ground level.

Tower Emblem #5
Location: During the sequence where you need to chase Natalia, check the large gap on the very top of a large container to find this Tower Emblem.

Barry Campaign

Tower Emblem #6
Location: While playing as Barry, check the remains of a demolished wooden house in the area where you encounter Revenants for the very first time.

Tower Emblem #7
Location: In order to acquire the Gate Key, you will require crossing a couple of rooftops. During this sequence, you need to keep an eye out on the left side to spot this Tower Emblem.

Tower Emblem #8
Location: Once you are inside the building with the elevator, you need to have Natalia crawl through the elevator shaft on the third floor and unlock the door of the room containing the Glasp. Once you are inside this room, check the very top of the wooden shelf to find this Tower Emblem.

Tower Emblem #9
Location: The last Tower Emblem is located inside the Tower, opposite the large red and white poster with the picture of a woman on it.

Kafka Drawings

Many of drawings made by Franz Kafka can be found in Resident Evil: Revelations 2. You need to use a flashlight to illuminate Kafka Drawings which will make them take a bluish hue. Following are the locations of all Kafka Drawings:

Episode #1

Claire Campaign

Kafka Drawing #1
Location: After acquiring the Experiment Block Key from the deceased police officer, enemies will begin attacking you and Moira will run away from the area.

After clearing the area off all enemies, switch to Moira and head inside a previously-locked room (through which the enemies came out). Use her flashlight on the walls inside to find the first drawing.

Kafka Drawing #2
Location: A little later into the story, you will find yourself in a storage room with Moira in order to acquire a crowbar. Before leaving the storage area, scan the walls using Moira’s flashlight to find the second drawing.

Kafka Drawing #3
Location: A little later into the story, you will come across your first workbench and a cogwheel right next to a torture device. After you figure out how to enable the power, head to the next area – a corridor.

To the right side of the corridor, there is an entrance into a very dark room. You need to head inside this room and shine Moira’s flashlight on the wall ahead to find the third drawing.

Kafka Drawing #4
Location: After restoring the power, an enemy will emerge out of a previously-locked room. After dealing with this dude using Moira, head inside the room from where he came to find the next Kafka Drawing.

Kafka Drawing #5
Location: Before exiting the large Prison Facility or compound, direct Moira’s flashlight on the wall opposite to the exit to find this drawing.

Kafka Drawing #6
Location: After crossing the wooden bridge, shine Moira’s flashlight on the side of the wooden bridge to find the last Kafka Drawing.

Episode #2

Claire Campaign

Kafka Drawing #1
Location: The first Kafka Drawing can be found on the displaced signboard just outside the bar.

Kafka Drawing #2
Location: This Kafka Drawing can be spotted on one of the rear-side of the chopper standing in the field.

Kafka Drawing #3
Location: This one is located inside the underground entrance leading to the Old Town. You will come across a couple of wooden barrels with this Kafka drawing directly behind.

Kafka Drawing #4
Location: You will come across a large blue gate leading into the Town. Shine your flashlight on this blue gate to find this Kafka Drawing.

Kafka Drawing #5
Location: As soon as you head inside the room with the second Sploder, shine your flashlight on the right wall to spot this Kafka Drawing.

Kafka Drawing #6
Location: While go down the stairs leading to the boss area, check the roof above for the final Kafka Drawing of this episode.

Insect Larvae

There are a total of six Insect Larvae in Episode #1 and can only be seen and collected by Natalia. As soon as you see an Insect Larvae, toss a brick to add it to your collection. Following are the locations of all Insect Larvae:

Barry Campaign

Insect Larvae #1
Location: After entering the Facility Area, leave the room with the torture device and switch to Natalia. After leaving the area, turn left and toss a brick on the red mist to find the first Insect Larvae.

Insect Larvae #2
Location: After heading inside the Control Room and opening all the cell doors, head inside the second cell on the left side and check the left wall.

Insect Larvae #3
Location: While controlling Natalia on the balcony of the Detention Area, you will blue footprints. If you follow these footsteps, you will enter the last cell on the right side.

Once you head inside the last cell on the right side, go through the hole and jump down to find the red mist right in front of you.

Insect Larvae #4
Location: While going through the woods, Natalia will open a door for Barry. From this area, head to your left and go up the hill to come across a tunnel entrance with the collectible on the lone tree in the area.

Insect Larvae #5
Location: After going through the woods, you will come across a secluded house on the right side. You need to head inside the house and check the wall on the left side to find the red mist.

Insect Larvae #6
Location: After arriving at the Lumber Yard, you will have to control the crane. While standing near the crane’s control panel, look to your right to find the red mist on one of the pillars of the large machine.

Episode #2

Barry Campaign

Insect Larvae #1
Location: Just as the episode starts, go to the other side of the radio tower and find the red mist drifting in the corner.

Insect Larvae #2
Location: This Insect Larvae is located inside the brick building with a matchstick signboard outside it. This is the same area where you also find the fuel.

Insect Larvae #3
Location: After coming out of the Fishing Village, you need to check the area with overgrown grass. This is the same area which leads to the underground tunnel leading to the Old Town.

Insect Larvae #4
Location: In order to collect this Insect Larvae, you need to defeat Pedro during Claire’s Campaign. Once you have done it, head inside the first apartment complex followed by getting to the top of the stairs behind the drillable wall.

Insect Larvae #5
Location: This one is located on a slide in the Old Park just after the Warehouse.

Insect Larvae #6
Location: You need to head inside the Tower and go up the stairs. Keep an eye out on the pillar on the right to find the red mist in the air.

Documents

There are a total of nine Documents that can be found in the Episode #1 of Resident Evil: Revelations 2. Documents provide you with a deeper understanding of the game’s plot and why certain things are happening the way they are.

Following are the locations of all Documents:

Episode #1

Claire Campaign

Document #1 – Rules for Monitoring Test Subjects
Location: After acquiring the knife, break the large glass pane in front of you and check the left side of the area to find the first Document.

Document #2 – Improving Security Measures
Location: After arriving at the Detention Center, you will have to place the cogwheel into the Gear Kog to gain access to the next area. Check the nearby area for a table containing this Document.

Document #3 – Excerpt from Kafka’s “In the Penal Colony”
Location: There is a small hallway near the room containing the torture device and cogwheel. Inside this hallway is an old chair with the Document.

Document #4 – Prisoner’s Letter
Location: A little later in the game, you will come across a large hallway with a few open cells on the right side and windows on the left. You need to head inside the last open cell to find this Document.

Document #5 – Caution for Experiment Handling
Location: From the previous hallway, you need to head inside the first room on your right side to find this Document.

Document #6 – Excerpt from Kafka’s “The Trial”
Location: After collecting ‘Caution for Experiment Handling’, head inside the large room to find this Document along with Thrown Sub-Bottle.

Barry Campaign

Document #7 – Escape Report
Location: While roaming the Detention Center, head to the second floor and head inside the Control Room to find this Document.

Document #8 – Prisoner’s Journal
Location: From the Control Room, open up the cells and head inside the fourth cell on the left side to find this Document inside.

Document #9 – Escapee’s Note
Location: While trying to escape the woods, you will come across a wooden hut with the last Document inside it.

Episode #2

Barry Campaign

Document #1 – Pedro’s Notes on the Bracelet
Location: While playing as Barry, you need to head inside the Wossek Bar and check the bar table inside to find this Document.

Document #2 – Town Resident’s Note
Location: You need to head towards the second floor of the apartment complex followed by heading inside the room opposite of the locked room with the Glasp.

Document #3 – Gabe’s Note
Location: As soon as the campaign starts, head inside the first building you come across to find this Document.

Claire’s Campaign

Document #4 – Traveler’s Diary
Location: This Document is located inside the sealed building where you witness Pedro drilling through – inside the Fishing Village.

Document #5 – Mock Experiment Results
Location: This Document is located inside the laboratory where you encounter the second Sploder.

Document #6 – Female Villager’s Letter
Location: While inside the Fishing Village, you will come across a building near the water’s edge that only Natalia can enter. This Document is located inside this building.

Document #7 – Town Resident’s Memo
Location: For this Document, you need to head inside the complex with the elevator and check the room right next to the bathroom.

Document #8 – Clinical Experiment Notes
Location: Once you have entered the Tower, check the front entrance leading to the stairs to find this Document.

Document #9 – Parting Words to My Dear Father
Location: This one is also located inside the Tower. You need to check the crate sitting on the stairs.
