Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness Releases for Xbox One Later This Month

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness will officially release for the Xbox One in Japan on May 28, 5pb. has announced.

The adventure game based on the anime series will launch with two editions. The normal one will cost 7,800 yen (plus tax), while the limited edition will set you back 9,800 yen (plus tax). The latter will include a “Dive to Psycho-Pass: Psycho-Pass Summer Premium Blu-ray Disc.”

Pre-orders are open for both and doing so will get you a “Dive to Psycho-Pass: Psycho-Pass Winter Premium Blu-ray Disc” irrespective to whether you get the standard or limited edition. Additionally, you’ll also receive a special Xbox One system decal themed after the Sibyl System.

The game will release with support for Xbox SmartGlass, with “Reward Voices” provided in various situations.

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is set between the first six episodes of the first season of the original TV series. It’s a great anime to watch if you haven’t already. It’s mature and gore theme features a city that is under constant supervision of Sibyl, a system designed to predict crime and a team standing by to stop it before it has occurred.

Things however, go haywire when a mysterious person arrives who cannot be ‘judged’ by the system, hence leaving him to commit whatever crime he sets his mind to.
