LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Devs’ Hunger Gets a Teaser Trailer

The studio that made LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation Vita, Tarsier Studios is currently working on an adventure title that just got creepier. The game is called Hunger and the developers just released a teaser trailer for it.

In the trailer above, you see the lead character, a little girl, running around trying to escape The Maw, a place where she has been kidnapped to.

From what I have read about Hunger so far, the idea of the game is pretty interesting. The fact that it involves a kidnapped little girl and how everything is sort of from er perspective give it a pretty intense (and creepy) vibe. Here’s something Tarsier Studios is saying about it:

A young girl is trapped in a labyrinth full of monsters and wants to escape. It will be your job to help her do this. It’s a genre we’re calling ‘suspense-adventure’, on account of the fact that there will be plenty of both.

The developers also stated that it came “coupled with an unnerving ‘Dollhouse Perspective’, tactile controls, and characters with soft, dark centres” which is why the game “will take your hand and let it go at the worst possible moment!”

Hunger will be released digitally to PlayStation 4 but so far we don’t know about the release plans.
