Forza Horizon 2: Fast and Furious Standalone DLC Announced
Xbox owners are getting treat next month from the developers of Forza Horizon 2. The studio has announced a new standalone DLC based on the popular Fast and Furious franchise.
The expansion will be released later next month on March 27 and will be completely free of charge for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Since it’s standalone, you will not require a copy of Forza Horizon for either of these consoles. The DLC will remain free to download up until April 10. That’s 7 days into the release of Fast & Furious 7.
For those who’ll grab the exclusive content after April 10, will have to pay $10 to download.
Set before the movie, the game casts players as a driver in France tasked with sourcing vehicles for mechanic Tej Parker (portrayed by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges in the films and game). The automobiles are virtual renditions of those in the “Fast & Furious” movies, such as the iconic 1970 Dodge Charger R/T driven by Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto.
It’s about time we get some AAA quality content based around this franchise, I wouldn’t even mind a complete game would you? Some of the cars that’ll be driveable in the game are listed below. There is also a brief teaser posted above.
