The Next Segment – The Order: 1886 Controversy, TwitchCon Announcement, The Last Guardian and More

By   /   Feb 25, 2015

Remember EVOLVE? Yes, the 4 versus 1 competitive FPS from Turtle Rock Studios which was massively criticized for its lack of content and $150 worth of DLC available at launch.

Following EVOLVE’s footsteps, this week we have a visual marvel from Ready at Dawn called The Order: 1886. Similar to EVOLVE, the game faced massive criticism, courtesy of lack of content, no replay value – you get the idea!

The popular streaming site Twitch has announced TwitchCon which is scheduled to take place on September 25-26, 2015 at Moscone West, San Francisco. For those who do not know, TwitchCon is an interactive convention for broadcasters and viewers alike to meet one another and play together.

After an extremely successful crowdfunding campaign back in June 2013, The Stomping Land may be on the verge of being extinct. The game’s Lead Artist Vlad Konstantinov announced that he has temporarily frozen all the work on the project as he has lost contact with the Lead Developer Alex Fundora.

And lastly, Square Enix has lost The Last Guardian trademark, but has ensured that the game is still in development.
