Final Fantasy XV Demo Will Be 5GB in Size on PS4 and Xbox One

By   /   Feb 25, 2015

Square Enix made the right move when they decided to include Final Fantasy XV demo in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Because if they wouldn’t have, Type-0 wasn’t going to be as anticipated as it is now. There one question though, how much space will be need to install the demo?

In an interview, director Hajime Tabata revealed the install size for the most awaited demo of the year. According to Tabata, both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users will have to spare 5GB of space on their hard drives for the demo.

“The overall size of the demo will be 5GB, but it uses the full processing memory of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.”

The demo of Final Fantasy XV will feature about 3 hours of gameplay and will take place in the Duscae region. Players will be able to explore different environments and even take on a Behemoth. Noctis and his team will also buy different ingredients from nearby towns and cook food next to a camp fire.

The game looks great visually but the demo will not run at the targeted 1080p/30Fps. Developer haven’t discussed what the resolution will be for this demo but we’ll know once it comes out.

Final Fantasy XV demo is coming alongside Type-0 on March 17 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
