Battlefield Hardline Has Gone Gold on All Platforms, All Regions
Well, I would have been shocked if they didn’t announce any thing like this for another week or so; but yes, Battlefield Hardline has gone gold.
This means that the latest iteration in the first person shooter series is play-ready and the developers are simply waiting for the release date to hit in which time they may tune up the left over elements of the game.
Of course announcing that a game has gone gold doesn’t signify anything other than the fact that the launch plans will be followed on schedule, but it is always good to know that a game we have been waiting for is finally ready for release.
The official twitter profile of Battlefield Hardline broke the news with a tweet:
[Battlefield Hardline] is officially Gold on all platforms & all regions! RT if you’ll be joining us on the streets on Mar 17.
In parallel news, it was announced that the game is definitely going to get premium services – read more about it here. Multiplayer classes were also discussed and it was also announced that the Deluxe Edition of the game was going to bring exclusive weapons.
Battlefield Hardline has been developed for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC. It is slated for release in the North American markets on March 17, 2015 while the European Union will be getting the game on March 19, 2015.
