Mortal Kombat X: No PS Plus, Xbox Live; New Reveal Coming Today

By   /   Feb 23, 2015

Mortal Kombat X DLC are going to bring you Predator and Colonel Dillon though it won’t get Jade and it will also not get a demo before you actually purchase it.

However, there is an upside, the developers have revealed that the game is not going to require a PlayStation Plus subscription or Xbox Live membership for any and all purposes.

The executive producer of Mortal Kombat X, Shaun Himmerick might go with a rather unusual Twitter name but he has a fair share of fans who have found him despite the fact that he likes to be referred as Lover of Tacos instead of Mr. Himmerick or something.

So recently, numerous fans of Mortal Kombat X were asking him questions about certain features of the game which he answered, revealing bits a pieces of new information on the upcoming title.

First off he was asked if a PlayStation Plus subscription will be required to which he answered no, and repeated the same for Xbox Live in another question.

This is rather new for a game like Mortal Kombat X because usually it is the free to play game publishers that get to choose this.

He also teased that they will be sharing something about the next reveal today i.e. Monday, February 23. While he didn’t say that the reveal was going to be made today, he said that Tyler Lansdown the community specialist for NetherRealm Studios “will let us all know when the next reveal is.”

Mortal Kombat X is slated for release on April 14, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
