FutureGrind is a Skill-Based Stunt Racer Coming For PS4, PC, and Mac

PS4 is getting another console-exclusive indie project titled FutureGrind – created by Owen Goss and Matt Rix, the owners of Milkbag Games.

The announcement came via Playstation US Blog with developers calling it something like Uniracers meets OlliOlli:

FutureGrind is a game all about skill, tricks, and speed. We think it’s a bit like Uniracers meets OlliOlli. The game is played on a track made of rails that run through a 3D environment: some rails are blue, some are red, and some are white.

Players basically control a futuristic vehicle called “Grinder” with a pink and a blue wheel. The idea is to make it to very end of the track in one piece while maintaining a high score.

One important thing to note here is that players cannot let the wrong wheel touch the rails. Blue wheel must only touch blue and same goes for the pink one.

In addition to this, players are required to perform crazy stunts which will earn them endorsements from “The Sponsors” and they will be able to progress through the game.

Rack up long grinds to increase your score. Do flips in the air for big points. Transfer between rails flawlessly to build your chain multiplier. Only skilled players will earn endorsements from The Sponsors and progress through the game.

Currently, there is no concrete release date available, but we will make sure to let you know if we come across anything. Until then, make sure to check out the teaser trailer above and share your impressions with us in the discussion box below.
