Bayonetta 2 Director Wants to Return to the Franchise for Another Game

By   /   Feb 16, 2015

Bayonetta 2 is one of the best Wii U games and fans will love to see the series continue. Bayonetta hasn’t been out for long but director Yusuke Hashimoto has already expressed interest to return to this series for another installment. This is amazing news for those wanting to see more of this franchise.

His views were shared through a brief interview, in which he was asked about making another game in the Bayonetta universe.

Yusuke Hashimoto said the following:

“A sequel to a Platinum title… I’d have to say Bayonetta 3. I have all kinds of ideas in my head for how to expand the world of Bayonetta in even more sequels, or maybe a spin-off!”

Hmmmm.. A spin-off for 3DS will also be cool don’t you think? This isn’t the first time he has expressed his views regarding another game. Back in 2014, before the release of Bayonetta 2, he shared his desire to keep “nurturing” this franchise.

“In terms of nurturing the content of this game, there’s a lot that we learned from Nintendo and if possible we would love to do it again and keep nurturing our child.”

Interesting indeed, hopefully Nintendo will let Hashimoto fulfil his desire to create more Bayonetta games. Not only his desire, but of millions of Bayonetta fans across the globe.
