Bruce Lee is the New Playable Character in Temple Run 2

By   /   Feb 13, 2015

The legendary martial artist Bruce Lee never backed down from a fight, but this time he will have to run for his life. Bruce Lee is being featured as a playable character in the popular smartphone game called Temple Run 2.

This will be his toughest adventure yet as he will have to escape the clutches of an evil monkey. Considering the fighting skills of Bruce lee I wouldn’t be surprised if instead of running, Lee turns around and starts beating up the giant fellow.

Moreover, Lee will encourage Temple Run 2 players by repeating some of his popular quotes such as “A goal is not always meant to be reached” or “Defeat is a state of mind.”

The famous martial artist can be a part of your game for just $1. Speaking about his inclusion in Temple Run 2, Imangi Studios co-founder Keith Shepard said:

As one of the most talented martial artists of all time, we think that Bruce Lee is a perfect fit for the Temple Run franchise. In addition to his speed and agility, we also celebrate his philosophies with words of wisdom when players need it most.

Bruce Lee’s daughter also praised this decision and said that this year is Lee’s 75th birthday. She believes it’s a fitting way to celebrate the occasion and that her father’s legacy will continue.

Temple Run 2 is a free to play game for iOS and Android devices.
