Tekken 7 Opening Cinematic Brings Heihachi, Kazuya, Story Details

By   /   Feb 10, 2015

It doesn’t get any better than this! A long brewing duel between the father and the son! Tekken 7 opening cinematic for the arcade version is here, and it is boiling hot!

The CEO of Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi Mishima calls out to his son saying “let’s settle this” as the trailer begins. Kazuya Mishima responds with nothing less than “it’s time for you to meet your end” and the battle begins.

When Heihachi takes the lead, Kazuya turns into the devil and burns the place apart.

As you can see in the video, the fight takes place in what looks like the insides of a volcano so yeah, it really is hot in there. While we might not know what exactly is the story behind all this, you will see a good little spoiler around the last half of the video.

Just add to it the fact that Katsuhiro Harada teased about the game’s story as “too dark,” and you will have a lot of speculations running around in your mind.

In case they are not the characters you are really looking forward to, the official website of Tekken 7 launched recently where a list of playable characters was revealed.

Tekken 7 is getting a limited Arcade release on February 18, 2015 for a Japanese audience while a complete release in Japan will take place sometime in March.
