New SHAREfactory Update Brings Themes, Gallery Feature and More

By   /   Feb 10, 2015

If you have been making good use of PlayStation 4’s SHAREfactory, you will be glad to know that a new update has been released that brings you some new themes alongside some new features.

Stuart Platt, the senior producer at Sony Computer Entertainment of America took to the official PlayStation US Blog with a post outlining the new things that have been added with the update.

Today, we’re excited to release our latest update for SHAREfactory, which will add more themes and tools you’ve requested that will enable you take your creativity to the next level.

With this latest update, you’ll now be able to purchase and download SHAREfactory themes directly from PlayStation Store. And to kick things off, we’re adding new themes to PS Store today.

A total of five new themes have been added, here’s a rundown on all of them:

  • Destiny
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2015
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
  • Killzone Shadow Fall
  • LittleBigPlanet3

Last but not the least, the SHAREfactory 80’s Theme is also available for a small price tag of $1.99 – just in case you are interested in getting your hand on something vintage.

However, themes are not the only new addition that the new update has brought you. A new gallery feature has been added that “allows you to easily view and share your completed projects.”

Apparently many of the fans have been requesting a greater degree of personalization in how the projects are presented. So now, you will also be able to add stickers of your profile picture and avatars to your projects – this will, hopefully, add a bit more of personalization to the editor.
