Resident Evil Triple Pack Heading to Japan on April 2nd
Good news for Resident Evil fans in Japan. Capcom has announced a Resident Evil Triple pack that will be available starting April 2nd.
According to Capcom, this triple pack includes 4 amazing survival horror games for Sony’s PlayStation 3. The first title is the highly popular Resident Evil 4. The story will follow one of the protagonists of the series, Leon S. Kennedy. He is on a mission to rescue Ashley Graham, US president’s daughter.
Next up is Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition or Biohazard 5 as known in Japan. This time you’ll play as Chris Redfield who leaves United States and heads to Africa, in order to investigate a terrorist threat. He soon finds out that his old enemy Albert Wesker is involved.
The not so popular Resident Evil 6 is our next candidate. The title took the series away from survival horror down a more shooter like path. Still, overall it was a fun game to play and is a part of this triple pack.
As for the plot, it’s bit hard to explain as it’s told from the perspective of multiple characters including Leon Kennedy and Chris. Try out the game for yourself to have a better understanding.
Last but not the least is Resident Evil Code: Veronica. The title was first released back in 2000 on PlayStation 2 and you’ll be playing as Claire Redfield during a T-virus outbreak on a remote island.
Clair is one of the most loved characters in the series but isn’t featured as a playable character in many RE games. Thankfully, her fans will see her make a return in the upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 2.
The triple pack will cost you 5990 yen or around $51 and it’s a nice way to warm-up before jumping into Resident Evil Revelations 2.
