EVOLVE is Getting a Day-1 Patch, Packs 3GB of Data

By   /   Feb 7, 2015

EVOLVE is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in just a few days. Upon release, the title is getting a 3GB patch, according to developer Turtle Rock Studios.

The patch seems to be a result of the latest community test which was a “learning experience” for the Turtle Rock Studios – the update is mandatory if you wish to play the game online.

Moreover, this patch is 3.0GB in size, but the studio says its size somewhat depends on your system. Evolve’s day-1 patch will bring some balancing adjustments to both monsters and hunters.

TRS wants to make sure everything is fine-tuned before you experience the Monsters vs. Hunters action of EVOLVE.

To enhance EVOLVE’s performance, the game is being optimized on each system. Improvements include “network bandwidth optimizations”, matchmaking, and loading time improvements.

Turtle Rock has also added new Elite skins after community feedback:

After the Big Alpha, we wanted to rework the Elite skins for Hunters and Monsters based on feedback we got from the community. The results of those requests are right here in this patch. We’ve updated or outright replaced the assets that were already in the game. All you need to do to unlock them: EARN THEM.

So there you have it! If you wish to know more about the patch, visit the official website.
