Battlefield Hardline Beta Extended to February 9 by Visceral Games
Visceral Games has decided to extend the ongoing beta of Battlefield Hardline. The decision seems to be made after the community asked developers to give them more time with the game.
Visceral granted their wish and revealed the extension news in a post on twitter:

For fans like me, this is certainly exciting and I’m relived to hear it. Why? Because I haven’t played the beta yet. I downloaded it last night, ordered Pizza and was all ready for some cops vs criminals action.
However, even after the beta was installed on my PS4’s HDD, I couldn’t play it. Unfortunately, when you access the game it starts some kind of “beta trail” loading and depending on your internet speed, that could take up to an hour to complete. By the time it was done, I fell asleep.
After a bit of digging, I realized I am not the only one facing this issue. It seems the problem is limited to Sony platforms (PS3, PS4) as I couldn’t find similar complaints on other platforms.
We have reached out to Visceral for comments on this and we’ll update the article as soon as we here something back. Battlefield Hardline is coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC starting March 17.
