Nintendo recently streamed a live presentation of Xenoblade Chronicles X, showing a 24-minute long footage detailing the game’s world with heaps of new information.

The game is set on Mira, a hostile planet comprising of 5 continents: Black Steel Continent, White Tree Continent, Primal Wilderness, Luminous Forest, and Forgotten Canyon. Players crash land on Mira where the modern city of Los Angeles is established.

The 24-minute long stream showed the game’s basic mechanics and exploration system. Players can use Navigation Ball as a guide to reach their destination and use Hopper Camera to view their environment from an aerial perspective. The game highly encourages exploration and offers mechanics to access the in-game world.

Furthermore, the game will feature 4-player online quests in addition to 32-player online interaction for trade and information sharing.

Near the end of the presentation, Nintendo announced an exclusive ‘Xenoblade Chronicles X Wii U Bundle’ containing a 32 GB Black Wii U, a special copy of the game with a dual-sided sleeve, an art book, a printed map, and a 1,000 Yen eShop card – all this for 35,000 yen or $295 without taxes.

Lastly, players who pre-order the digital version of the game in Japan will be able to pre-load it before the actual release date.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is slated to launch on Apr. 29, 2015 in Japan and later in the Western market. You can check the stream above and share your impressions with us in the discussion box below!
