Xenoblade Chronicles X Livestream Introduces In-Game World, Wii U Bundle Announced
Nintendo recently streamed a live presentation of Xenoblade Chronicles X, showing a 24-minute long footage detailing the game’s world with heaps of new information.
The game is set on Mira, a hostile planet comprising of 5 continents: Black Steel Continent, White Tree Continent, Primal Wilderness, Luminous Forest, and Forgotten Canyon. Players crash land on Mira where the modern city of Los Angeles is established.
The 24-minute long stream showed the game’s basic mechanics and exploration system. Players can use Navigation Ball as a guide to reach their destination and use Hopper Camera to view their environment from an aerial perspective. The game highly encourages exploration and offers mechanics to access the in-game world.
Furthermore, the game will feature 4-player online quests in addition to 32-player online interaction for trade and information sharing.
Near the end of the presentation, Nintendo announced an exclusive ‘Xenoblade Chronicles X Wii U Bundle’ containing a 32 GB Black Wii U, a special copy of the game with a dual-sided sleeve, an art book, a printed map, and a 1,000 Yen eShop card – all this for 35,000 yen or $295 without taxes.
Lastly, players who pre-order the digital version of the game in Japan will be able to pre-load it before the actual release date.
