Xbox One February Update is Live – Brings Controller Improvements, TV Features
Little over a month into the new year we have our first 2015 update for Xbox One. The new update has now gone live but nothing major came along with it.
After installing the latest update, you will notice a slight decrease in controller connectivity time. Meaning it previously took around 4-5 seconds to sync with the Xbox One, but will now only take 2 seconds.
Moreover, some users reported their controller getting disconnected on occasion. The update in question will also put an end to this problem.
Next up is the chat connection status icons that will tell you the current connection status is your party. New clock icon will indicate that the connection is being established, while Squawker Ring will confirm the connection’s success.
According to Microsoft, they have also reduced the time it usually takes to set up P2P connectivity during party chat.
The update will also make adjustments to tile transparency “to make your background images more visible.” Apart from these changes and improvements, there’s nothing notable to discuss.
However, the rest of the details about the update include Tv related features such as new countries for Live Tv Trending, OneGuide for users in Netherlands and “Live TV streaming on Windows Phone and Android.”
