Game of Thrones Episode 1 Choices Carry Over Issue Affecting Xbox One Users

By   /   Feb 6, 2015

Telltale’s latest title Game of Thrones came out recently with an intense episode 1. Fans made a number of choices in the first episode that were supposed have an impact on the outcomes of episode 2. The new episode is now available but fans aren’t seeing any impact on the story based on their previous choices.

That’s because the data isn’t getting transferred. The problem was reported by fans on Telltale’s support page and it seem that this issue is limited to the Xbox One version of Game of Thrones.

Telltale is yet to offer any solution or workaround for this and a number of players have stopped playing the game till a hotfix comes out. You can see 7 pages of complaints here but be warned, potential spoilers can be found on the page.

Some users are suggesting that deleting the game from your HDD and re-downloading fixes the issue. However, this workaround doesn’t seem to be working for everyone. Some users report that they re-downloaded the title more than 3 times, but the problem is still there.

Developers are yet to comment on the cause of this problem but hopefully, they’ll release a fix.

Are you having the same problem of Xbox One or anyother platform? Let us know of your experience in the comments below.
