Battlefield Hardline System Requirements; 60GB, GTX 760, 8GB RAM Recommended

By   /   Feb 3, 2015

I am sure everyone fan of the shooter series is pumped up for Battlefield Hardline, primarily due to the looming open beta.

However, we have all been missing out on one integral part of the details i.e. the system requirements that all PC users will have to match in order to be able to get a smooth experience. The developers have finally shared the official word on this.

So here are the recommended requirements as shared by Visceral Games on the Origin page of Battlefield Hardline:

  • OS: Windows 8 64-BIT (with KB971512 Update)
  • CPU: Intel Quad Core CPU, AMD Six Core CPU
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 290, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
  • Graphics Memory: 3 GB
  • Hard Drive: 60 GB
  • DirectX 11

If you think these are a bit too demanding for your PC to cope up with, you can always run the game on lower settings if your machine can match the minimum system requirements. Here’s the bare minimum that you will need:

  • OS: Windows Vista SP2 64-BIT (with KB971512 Update)
  • Processor: Athlon II/Phenom II 2.8 GHz, Intel Core i3/i5 2.4GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5770 (1 GB), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (896 MB)
  • Hard Drive: 60 GB
  • DirectX 11

The timing of this reveal matches the launch timing of the Battlefield Hardline Beta which is supposed to go live today and will take up around 11GB of space. You can read up all about it by going here and here.

Oh and if you have a RAM of 4GB or less, your beta experience will probably get marred by optimization issues as the developers say they are still working on lower-end PC performance.

So tell us, do you have a PC that is going to be able to run the game? If not, do you think you will be upgradingg it any time soon?
