Batman Arkham Knight: Commissioner Gordon Looks Better Than Ever

By   /   Feb 2, 2015

The latest screenshot reveal for Batman Arkham Knight features James Gordon, ally of the caped crusader and hardworking Police Commissioner of Gotham City.

The image is yet another reminder to the amazing level of details Rocksteady Studios is putting in for its new game. Unlike the earlier Arkham titles, Gordon this time has less of a clammy skin texture and actually has better bumps for wrinkles. The lighting falling on him is amazing as well, a great improvement in the series.

While the quality does look good, one has to ask if the same result can be expected with the final release. Developers nowadays find it more fruitful in releasing tweaked screenshots to hype up games, whereas the final product comes out different. Rocksteady has enough votes so far to make us believe things won’t come to that.

Batman: Arkham Knight will take place a year following the events of Batman: Arkham City. There are new threats knocking on the doors of Gotham and some might be closer to home than one would expect.

Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
