Project CARS Gets Another Gameplay Footage With Developer Commentary

By   /   Jan 31, 2015

One of the games I’m really looking forward to this year is Project CARS. The game looks incredible and makes me want to jump back into the racing genre; after I left thanks to some bad experiences with long-running franchises.

To get me and the rest of fans further excited, developer Slightly Mad Studios has released 10 minutes of new gameplay footage. The video is from the PS4 version of Project CARS in which you see Creative Director Andy Tudor taking a BMW M3 for a spin on a California highway.

The studio doesn’t seem to be intimidated by the likes of The Crew, Driveclub, Forza, etc. Tudor states that they have been in touch with the community and shaped the game based on their feedback. Slightly Mad Studios have a lot of confidence in their game, but how will the final product turn out remains to be seen.

For now, the game looks and plays really well. I sure hope it doesn’t suffer from any major post-release issues, which seem to be the ongoing trend.

Project CARS is coming out in a couple of months for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows PC, and Wii U.
