Diablo 3 Season 2 Scheduled To Kick Off On February 13, Blizzard Confirms

Attention all Diablo 3 fans out there! Blizzard has finally announced the starting date for Season 2. The new season will kick-off on Feb. 13, 2015 in all regions.

The news was announced in a post on Battle.Net by Blizzard which also revealed the exact time of the season’s start in different regions.

Fans of Diablo 3 in North America can expect season 2 to start on “Friday, February 13 @ 6:00 p.m. PST.” while players in Europe will enter on “Friday, February 13 @ 6:00 p.m. CET.”

Diablo 3 players residing in Asia should also mark their calendars for February 13 and set a reminder of “6:00 p.m. KST.”

The same post also revealed the closing time for the current season:

  • North America: Tuesday, February 3 @ 4:00 p.m. PST
  • Europe: Wednesday, February 4 @ 4:00 p.m. CET
  • Asia: Wednesday, February 4 @ 4:00 p.m. KST

Also, keep in mind that with the end of season 1, Era 1 will also come to a close. If you don’t know what that means:

At the end of an Era, all current non-Seasonal leaderboard standings will be wiped and players will be unable to attain new leaderboard ranks until a new Era begins

At the end of the first season, all created heroes will become non-seasonal and will be allowed to compete in Era 2 leaderboards immediately.
