Wii U Exclusive Splatoon Will Be Playable At APEX 2015
Nintendo’s Wii U exclusive team based shooter Splatoon will be playable at APEX 2015. The game was last seen at E3 2014 and for those who weren’t able to get some hands on time then, can do it now.
The news was revealed by Nintendo of America in a post on twitter saying: “#Splatoon is coming to #Apex2015! Stop by our lounge to get hands-on time with the demo that was featured at E3 2014!”
In addition to this, some Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire time will also be provided on the side. Super Smash Bros. players can visit the APEX 2015 as Nintendo is holding a tournament for the game.
If the excitement wasn’t high enough already, Nintendo’s JC from TreeHouse tweeted asking fans to keep their eyes peeled as more exciting stuff is yet to come.
As I mentioned, Splatoon is a shooter and it’s one of those rare games of this genre that don’t promote violence. The game is incredibly fun to play with your friends and family. Splatoon is testament to the fact that you don’t need a big budget to create something really special for the players.
Splatoon can be played by a maximum of 8 players, in 4v4 online match. You take control of squid/human characters called inklings. These creatures shoot paint across the game’s environment.
Your goal is simple, mark your enemies territory with your teams respective color and win the match. Nintendo plans to ship Splatoon later this year.
