Magicka 2: New Trailer Features Interview With a Vampire in Denial, and New Gameplay Footage

By   /   Jan 27, 2015

A new live-action trailer released for Magicka 2 features Brad, a vampire in denial, and his visit to a psychiatrist.

Watch how he speaks about old times where he hunted monsters with his friends, after which the trailer suddenly cuts to actual game footage of Magicka 2.

Magicka 2 will feature an all-new adventure with up to four players in cooperative mode, where they explore a land ravaged by the recent Wizard Wars. A new game means new enemy types, new friends to meet along the way, a wide selection of attire and weapons, a brand new dynamic spell casting system and of course, new magical abilities.

Paradox Interactive has announced that fans can sign up on the official Magicka 2 website for the chance to get access to all sorts of in-game goodies, including new weapons, a new robe, and some avatars and icons for the forums.

There’s also the opportunity to name an in-game NPC. The sequel is in development for the PlayStation 4 and PC, but we’ve yet to hear an official release window. It’s speculated to be sometime this year though.
