Metal Gear Online Will Feature Day and Night Options

By   /   Jan 26, 2015

Metal Gear Online, which is the multiplayer section of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will feature day and night options. The news was shared by the official Metal Gear Online page on twitter.

According to a tweet by devs: “Night & Day options have been confirmed for #MGO Would you spend more time sneaking under cover of darkness or scouting in the light of day?”

This option will influence how players will approach their destination. The tweet failed to mention how will it be implemented. As revealed before, Metal Gear Online is team oriented. Considering this, will the host decide the time of day before the mission begins or will everyone be asked to vote?

We have reached Konami for clarification and as soon as we hear something back, we’ll let you know.

Metal Gear Online was revealed back in December and as expected, emphasizes on stealth. Character customization is also an important part of the experience. Your character will appear as Big Boss while your other teammates will appear as random soldiers.

Although players do have the option to choose a different character if they wish.

Players will have a number of weapons at their disposal including threat detection grenades. These can really come in handy in a game like Metal Gear as you always need to know your enemy’s position.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Release date is yet to be revealed but hopes are that it will come out later this year.
