Sunset Overdrive Increases Gamerscore by 75
Sunset Overdrive has its Gamerscore increased to allow players to earn 75 more points, a post on Xbox Wire has revealed.
There are a total of three new challenges, each with achievement points worth 25.
- Hardcore!: Buck National vs The Apocalypse. Beat the score of 600,000 on the Challenge “Buck’s National vs The Apocalypse.”
- Hardcore!: Buck Strikes Back. Beat the score of 564,500 on the Challenge “Buck’s Strikes Back.”
- Hardcore!: Buck Stops Here. Beat the score of 703,700 on the Challenge “Buck’s Stops Here.”
None of the above are going to be easy to achieve, but nonetheless gives achievement-lovers something to look forward to.
Insomniac Games’ open-world action game has also been reduced in price for a limited time and for only Xbox Live Gold members. Subscribers to the service can as of now secure a copy from the Xbox Store by paying $35.99, instead of the regular $59.99 price.
Sunset Overdrive was launched last October exclusively for the Xbox One. Its first DLC expansion, Mystery of the Mooil Rig, was received warmly by players in late December. Insomniac Games threw in a lot of story content, crazy weaponry, bizarre bosses, and ways to earn bragging rights.
If you’re interested in trying out the vibrant shooter everyone’s talking about, then take this opportunity to get it cheap through the Xbox Live Gold offer.
