Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi Coming to PS4 and PS3
So it appears that Capcom had been keeping some good stuff up their sleeve all this time. The developer/ publisher has announced that they are developing the next installment in the Sengoku Basara series.
The game is titled Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi and will be the eighth title in the series (so far four games have been released in the main series).
The news came in through the latest issue of Famitsu where the developers revealed that the historic action title is going to be released to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 both.
Sadly, there is not much that the developers have shared about the game; but thanks to Gematsu we do have a translation of everything they were willing to reveal.
First of all, there will be new systems as well as new Japanese warlords making their way to you. In total you will get seven new warlords making the total of playable warlords 40.
Three of the new warlords were also revealed for Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi. You will know two of them from the previous games where they were not playable i.e. Ashikaga Yoshiteru who is voiced by Shuichi Ikeda and Kyogoku Maria who is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro. The third warlords, Sen no Rikyu who is being voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, is new to the game.
As far as new systems are concerned; Capcom discussed one that is called Battle Roulette. Just as the name suggests, it brings you a roulette where you earn medals that are exchangeable with hundreds of prizes.
Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi is going to be released at some point in the summers this year. Stay tuned for more information on the game as well as a specific release date.
