A New Rock Band Game Might be in the Works, Harmonix is Surveying Fans

It looks like Harmonix is working on a new game in their famed guitar series because currently they are holding a survey asking you different questions regarding the series.

The survey initially asks you which Rock Band titles have you regularly played from among Rock Band, Rock Band 2, Rock Band 3, The Beatles: Rock Band, Green Day: Rock Band, Lego Rock Band, Rock Band Bliz. Next up they ask you which one of these is your favorite.

You will also be asked how much of a diehard fan you are of the series by inquiring about the time you have spent playing the games in the series.

More important questions follow; for instance, the platform that you played the game on. The options include PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii obviously because no recent game has been released in the series.

Could be an attempt to figure out which one of the three platforms (Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft) should the next games be on as another question also asks which consoles you own now.

Another question asks about the instruments that you own for plying with the games in the series and then ask you if you have purchased any DLC.

The next two questions strictly related to the gameplay mechanics and features of the game. In an attempt to gauge the features that are liked the most by series fans, they inquire about the reasons and modes that you played the game on. They also ask you to rank listed features according to their worth to you.

You are also asked that “assuming that it would have compatibility with existing hardware, which version of a new Rock Band experience would you prefer to receive” from among three options i.e. the game, the game and an instrument or the game and a whole set of instruments.

Oh and it looks like they are also thinking of including a preorder option; that is what the last question is about.
