Neverwinter Opens Closed Beta Registrations on Xbox One

By   /   Jan 16, 2015

Neverwinter will enter closed beta on the Xbox One in early February, Perfect World Entertainment has announced.

Registrations are currently open and interested players can participate by enrolling through the official Neverwinter website. The beta is scheduled to take place between February 5 and 8. There’s no indication on when the registrations will close, but from the dates it would be better to sign up before February.

The free-to-play MMORPG will feature all content currently available on the PC. Additionally it will also boast a series of new features tailored specifically to the Xbox One, including an optimized controls scheme, friends list integration, and a more console oriented UI.

Neverwinter is scheduled for an official release on the Xbox One in early 2015. The game will be free-to-play for all Xbox Live Gold members. While I haven’t tried the game, comments from those who already have played it on the PC indicate that the game features a lot of grinding elements. Those with cash to burn can easily wade through the mess.
