Microsoft Releases Hype Video for Its 2015 Games

By   /   Jan 16, 2015

Microsoft has released a showreel highlighting the “best games” to release on the Xbox One in 2015.

Strangely enough, some of the titles mashed in the hype video were actually released last year. It makes little sense to include the likes of Sunset Overdrive, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Forza Horizon 2, but nonetheless makes the trailer come out great.

The trailer is also for some reason missing highly anticipated titles like Quantum Break from Remedy Entertainment. Should fans be worried about the possibility that the game is being delayed?

Xbox head Phil Spencer followed the release of the trailer with a tweet acknowledging how some titles were missing from the video. He, however, did not offer a reason as to why it was necessary to include 2014 games inside a 2015 showreel when they could have included Quantum Break instead.

Microsoft has a large sack of games that they intend to push out this year.

Spencer has previously teased that the amount of titles set for 2015 is so massive that forming a proper release schedule is becoming messy. They might even end up pushing some titles ahead to make space for others, which probably would disappoint fans.

Amongst the most anticipated Xbox One games of 2015, Halo 5 probably tops the list. Let us know below what games you’re looking forward to this year.
