New Fire Emblem Game Announced for 3DS, Trailer Inside

Nintendo Direct presentation of today opened up with news the Japanese tactical role playing series Fire Emblem is getting a new game for Nintendo 3DS!

Not just that, Nintendo has also released the first trailer for the upcoming game so that you can calibrate your expectations accordingly.

The trailer starts off in slow motion cinematic with a battle kicking off in the dark. We get to see some really classy armors and swords, and then the cavalry hits and the battle begins.

A little afterwards we see some footage of the new Fire Emblem game being played on a 3DS. It is really interesting and has all the features that you would want from the Japanese title.

The game is known as Fire Emblem If in Japan while the rest of the world still has a working title with the series name for it.

The last entry in the series was Fire Emblem Awakening which came in April 2012 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. It was preceded by 10 titles since the original game’s release in 1990.

We don’t know about the exact release date but it is expected that the game will be out sometime later this year.
