Diablo 3 Patch 2.1.2 Goes Live, Brings a Host of Changes and Additions
Fans of Diablo 3 will be happy to know that the much awaited update v.2.1.2 is finally out of testing and is available on public servers. The patch can be downloaded on all announced platforms.
Announced at BlizzCon, the update brings some notable changes to the game. One such change, is the replacement of Healing stat with Recovery stat.
Another change includes a minor boost in Base Life while on level 70. Furthermore, players who love to hunt rare items can rest assured that their job is made easy by Blizzard. After downloading the update 2.1.2, players will find it a bit easier to locate rare items in Diablo III.
As for ancient items, they are added in the game as an even more powerful form of Legendary items.
Moreover, Season 1 is going to come to an end in early February, so your non-seasonal characters will have to wait till then, for season 1 items to be migrated.
Update 2.1.2 probably has the most extensive patch notes I have ever come across. You can see some of the highlights below or visit here for more details:
- Life on Hit and Life Regeneration have been increased by 25% at all levels
- The rarity of the rarest Legendary items in the game has been reduced
- The stack size of Crafting Materials and Gems has been increased from 1000 to 5000
- Ancient items have been added to the game:
Ancient items are more powerful versions of Legendary items
Ancient items roll from increased value ranges for certain affixes
Ancient Mojos, Orbs, and Shields roll with increased Damage or Shield Block values
Ancient items can now drop at Torment I or higher
The drop chance will increase with each Torment level
Any Legendary or Set item has a chance to be dropped or crafted as an Ancient item
Legendary or Set items purchased from Kadala have a chance to be an Ancient item
