Telltale Games has a New CEO as Dan Connors Steps Down

By   /   Jan 13, 2015

Developer Telltale Games, known for its work on titles like The Walking Dead, Games of Throne and The Wolf Among Us, has announced a change in the CEO position. The company’s co-founder Dan Connors was previously handling the responsibilities of the CEO, but the position is now handed over to another co-founder, Kevin Burner.

The company stated that this change is due to Telltale’s continued growth and evolution. Dan Connors on the other hand will remain with the company as an executive advisor. Speaking about this change he stated:

2015 is the first of the next ten years for an ever-evolving Telltale. As we enter this new phase, and as Kevin transitions to my former role of CEO, I will remain with the company and on the board in an advisory role that will help ensure Telltale’s vision of continuing to break new ground as leading storytellers in the entertainment space.

Change at the executive level isn’t the only news shared by the company. New CEO Kevin Burner revealed, that Telltale is working on a new unannounced “original IP.”

Nothing more is known about the new IP but I guess we’ll have more to talk about it at or around E3, 2015. Telltale is also working on Minecraft: The Story Mode and new episodes of Game of Thrones. It’s exciting to know that more is coming our way from this talented team of developers.
